Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) offers a significant advantage by quickly providing comprehensive flow data (including temperature), flow visualisation and performance predictions. Highly three-dimensional and swirling flows, turbulence, unsteadiness and rotor-stator interactions are all readily simulated.
