TriVista recommends that our clients initially obtain product samples to enable them to inspect, verify and approve the quality of the product before considering any production quantities. This step also ensures any errors are corrected before any significant quantities are manufactured. Before samples are sent to our clients, TriVista engineers ensure that the samples have been inspected by the manufacturer’s quality control system and our engineers then usually perform a secondary inspection to “double-check” the product prior to final delivery to the client.

Once our client approves the sample quality, we usually recommend getting the Chinese manufacturer to produce a small pre-production batch of the product. This helps to assess production quality and also assists with ironing out any packaging or logistic issues before larger production quantities are ordered.

In the pre-production batch, the quality control methods employed by the Chinese manufacturer can also be inspected to ensure that they follow the required standards.

If the client wishes to inspect the quality control practices first hand then the experienced engineers of TriVista can also assist the quality assessment by accompanying them to the premises of Chinese manufacturer. Our engineers can assist by helping with the quality auditing process through better communication and understanding between our client and the selected manufacturer.

If required, our engineers can regularly inspect the factory to ensure the quality control systems are functioning properly. This can include random product inspections to ensure the product meets customer’s specifications either during production or before shipping.
